Hello, everyone. One twelfth of 2020 has already gone by… Time really flies!
Determined to make the most of this year too, on February 1st I attended an event called "Megane-san to."

About the Event
The megane fes we held right after Obon in 2019 is coming back, powered up! With the new year, the event name has been refreshed to "Megane-san to." (roughly, "With Megane-san."). It's being held on the first weekend of February, Saturday the 1st. Once again we're inviting speakers active in the web industry, and Megane-san interviews them about how they work and how they live. "Work-style reform," "turning what you love into your job"… these days, so many words and so much information swirl around about how to work and how to live. You think about it, but really — what kinds of working and living are there, and which one fits me? What kinds of working and living do other people do? Do you find yourself carrying those worries and that vague unease? Through interviews with a diverse lineup of guests, let's take a peek together with Megane-san at how other people living in the same era work and live! Sessions (10:30–16:30)
The most appealing thing about this event, I think, is that it proceeds as a dialogue with Megane-san. There are set themes, but through Megane-san's questions and so on, the content turns into fascinating stories or hits just the right comedic note — so the speakers, staff, and attendees could all be their natural selves.
A laid-back atmosphere with sessions of real substance. I love it!

At last, Happy Hour! 🍻 The say-whatever-you-want-while-drinking begins!

Since impactful stories tend to draw attention, I decided to talk about the novel coronavirus — also, like me, Made in China!
So that it wouldn't ruin the drinks, I introduced the life of Chinese people under lockdown from a different angle.
