Web-DOG Industry-Academia Project

Regional SMEs want to use the web but lack budget and people; meanwhile students have few chances for real production experience. It started from the question of whether both could be solved at once.

We designed and ran "Web-DOG," an industry-academia scheme where local companies hold a competition and students handle everything from requirements to site production. It was rolled out in regions such as Iwate and Gunma.

We achieved regional problem-solving and hands-on student education at the same time — creating a regional-DX model that benefits companies, schools and students alike.
